From the Bishop's Bible of 1538,
to the Revised Version in 1885,
then immediately to the American
Standard Version in 1901, the road
of the King James Version has been
long. The KJV was the most popular
until 1987 when the New
International Version was
published. The text here
represents what was last printed
at that time.

the easiest to read and
has no outside links,
and only references the
publisher, R. Mark Sink, the creative
author of this version
of U.S. public domain KJV
text.
The text is Verdana size
10, with bookmarks for
each Chapter that allow
you to instantly read
the beginning of each
one. The text has not
been altered, and is the
same as what was
published in the late
80's of the 20th Century
based on the ASV/KJV
editions of early
1900's.

Parallel Version was
published in December
1995 by Zondervan and
contains both the King
James Version and
Amplified Version side
by side bonded in black
leather. The Amplified
Version used the
word-for-word American
Standard Version as a
reference text.
Additional words were
added to communicate the
nuances of meaning from
the original texts.
These amplification are
offset from the text by
brackets or parentheses.
The Amplified New
Testament was
first published in 1958.
The full Amplified
Bible, first published
in 1965, has become the
favorite second Bible
for millions of
Christians.

updated from the 1611
edition removing archaic
words for an updated
version. It was
published by William D.
Prindle and 21st Century
King James Bible
Publishers in April
1994. It comes in a
burgundy hardcover with
