Bubbles in Troubles

It’s always easy to be joyful if you try.
But don’t let fear tell you the endless lie.
To sit on your head and make you cry,
To hide joy away for her in the loose sky.

Higher and higher the balance is a fold.
To rise out of the ashes into the cold,
To conjure up the grey cloud you were told.
But that was written in the wind for the old.

To see a golden eagle in the setting sun,
To feel the rim along the better one,
To fall back around the lenient guns,
You consume her, to turn, and she is done.

Envy mirrors the fear in your heart.
Bubbling each day from the very start,
Come and see, and play in the dark,
Down to the plane of the pyramid’s ark.

Drear has a builder’s plan to change the news.
Has a partner journalist with long screws.
Not a nice twosome that will be two.
Won a trophy for the dicey blue.

Oh Mercury, what shall we do with you.
That windy two, the wings of winding green blue.
Red serpent underneath the cape true.
Bitch and moan, the tusk is in you.
