Abash/Shame
~ Drear a·bash (ć-băsh′)
transitive verb
a·bash·ment noun
+abash-add abasia-et-gwā, step
Abash, abashed, abashing, abashes, abashment
Abash is feeling embarrassed and uneasy, and even
disconcerted.
It is also about losing composure, which is a form of balance
and reflection of one's own
conscious.
Uneasiness has much to do with hysteria,
and anticipation. To feel abashed
represents an affecter who is most likely disconcerted more than the one
affected. The dictionary explains that if your feathers are
ruffled, you may feel abashed, but this seems an aggressive
stance to its meaning.
You may only feel abashed because of a surprise, or unexpected
occurrence in your path. We are not chickens, and our
anticipation is usually the main cause of this emotional
feeling. The exact difference between abash and
embarrass is unknown other than to
say, one probably leads to the other.
This feeling is closely associated with
despair, defeat,
shame, and hope.
Build your armor with compassion
and awareness.
