Conceit, conceited, conceiting
Conceit is to formulate an opinion of oneself above others.
This can be based on many aspects of the individual, including
reputation, skill, demeanor, relationships, belongings, and the
list goes on. When encountering conceit, it is very often
received as emotional energy, and felt by the
observer in the
conscious mind.
Conceit is considered unduly or unworthy, as humility conquers
envy any day of the week. Those who have
conscience usually have very
attuned censors, and can spot conceit a mile away.
Conceited ones are also paraphrasing there way to the top with
their ingeniousness and in genuineness. Looking IN is their IN
thing.
The dictionary also mentions conceit as a thought and opinion.
This may be considered as thought without objectivity, of
fanciful exaggerations often supported by
incantations, as
advertising. If you view [warning] the TV, you will see conceit
on fire in ALL advertising.
Egoism is a strong synonym of conceit along with
narcissism and
vanity. This emotional disorder is shockingly displayed as the
way it is, and a way to keep people asleep by tapping their
emotions. The champion of winning is an implanted
psyche for the
purpose of use, and some of that use is related to the visual
world around you, and the consumption world around you, both
primary targets for control.
If you accept that conceit is satisfactory, then you can easily
get used to a little conceit in media until you get used to even
more, and so on, slowly changing the mental environment.
Proverbs 18:11
The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in
his own conceit.
Proverbs 26:5, 12, 16
Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be
wise in his own
conceit. [12] Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit?
there is more hope of a fool than of him. [16] The sluggard is
wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a
reason.
Proverbs 28:11
The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor
that hath understanding searcheth him out.
