empathy- (revision)
a feeling of collective modus; conscience; understanding of
others feelings not directly in contact with; verdant; EN-2
(within) + -PATHY (translation from German Einfühlung)
[ref: verdant- chapter 35,
graze]
Notes: In searching the word Einfühlung
it really doesn't make much sense. The word fühlung
without the ein prefix is supposedly meaning (contact)
yet there may not be any physical contact associated with
empathy. The prefix ein in this sense may mean (in contact) and
the e has been added for flavor.
The only other word that is close to
fühlung is
führer
which is a tyrant. This may have something to do with feelings of
fury that are within, but this does not seem like empathy, or
does it? We must be aware that some words in the dictionary used
to describe emotions may not actually be emotions or feelings
themselves, but words tagged to feelings and emotions for
control.
The suffix -pathy is meant to represent
feelings, Greek -patheia, from pathos, root kwent(h)-;
which is about passion and emotions, but it is more about the
word exhale, and aspiration versus apathy. In an
instant, the aspire brings apathy in its trail. The prefix em-
is also a conversion from en-, this one being #2 which
can be confused with #1 which is to (put into) as versus
(within), but worse, both en- and em-
have separate root groups.
The root group em- comes
across as vintage, and en- as the introduction. Of
course, you can never tell which one is which unless you have
checked closely on each word. If looking at en-,
we see it is also attached to ei- which leads us
straight to the word introit which like an entrance, or to
(enter in) and the root group ei- which sets above
both em- and en- in sequence is a
sort of elbow. In following the trail a bit further, Julius
Pokorny leads me to believe it is associated with the ceca,
which is plural for cecum, an area in the intestines
where everything must pass through that we consume.
It seems to me we breathe in and out,
but also that fire is present at all times. Empedocles
was a philosopher who believed that all matter is composed of
elemental particles of fire, water, earth, and air. I
tend to agree with him in most aspects, but love is a part of
this mix. This mix can be vast, from the tail of the whale that
moves through water to the tail of an airplane they flies.
Empathy is that word that says someone cared, but they were also
capable of feeling. But as it turns out, we seem to slide back
and forth from despair and hope on one side, and the speed of
prosperity on the other.
Despair seems the fire that may run
along a thin line between trying to measure, and the feelings of
satisfaction, while hope is buried somewhere in between. The
following is the group named Karma of which I consider
very worthy of study, and the word hope is considered sacred,
but has no root itself. More improvements will be made, and
follow links for more knowledge.

Comment: I have added empathy
into this group because I am led to believe it is a feeling
that most normal people are capable of, but at the same
time, are unable to understand it manifestations. The
greatest cover for the feeling of empathy would be to
create a word that seemed like it, but was only focused
elsewhere, and that seems to be where pity came
along. It is undoubtedly possible for a human to feel
empathy without the feeling being of direct concern for a
specific individual or friend, on the contrary, it could be
a feeling for people one had never even met, and could also
be a personal feeling.-----

2006/12/10: original notes
Empathy, empathize, empathized, empathizing, empathizes,
empathic, empathetic
Empathy comes with awareness of your
kindred that contains compassion and
understanding. It takes
intuition to become fully aware and
identify pathos when seen. Yet, this amazing emotional feeling
is present it seems, in all of life separate from the fold of
physicality. Empathy has been measured in animals, and even mice
according to current studies.
In mapping your emotional noesis, love also is mirrored in
power, and empathy serves as a secret knight
combining forgiveness and
peace in power to see
expressions and recognize the
feelings of another as projected. A permanent bond to God
must exist in all life. Such power must have some backfeed, and
overflow into the mind, as with empathy.
Those who tout pity as empathy have poor
reflections, and little
respect. You can pity the whole world
forever until it burns up and you will have succeeded only in
partnering with the beasts you desire.
Or, you can show compassion in the form of ACTION and begin to
annoy those in need who take no action,
but constantly say, "I feel sorry for them, excuse me, I must
go."
The beasts are clever and here is a perfect example of their
attack on the sub-primer empathy. They adjust the usage of the
word to empathetic, which is taking scornful pity and painting
it onto the word empathy in an attempt to downgrade its power of
love.
Other words that have been stolen and their meanings jaded are
sympathy which is used in support of
this tactic, along with disgust and
desire wearing masks.
For a word that has been discovered in all of life, the
dictionary gives it four lines.
Quite a lack luster way to attribute scorn against
love.
Empathy can also be projected upon others, but the reception of
awareness to its presence is best done in face to face
situations, rather than through books and media. Determining the
presence of empathy online takes more research to reveal
validation, as it is often faked to push a certain agenda.
