Esoteric, esoterica (plural noun), esotericism
(noun), and [ ESP (noun) must see
esprit ]
Esoteric is knowledge that is confined, restricted, not publicly
disclosed, or confidential, as intended. What is strange
(mysterious) about this word is the derivatives that are
described in relation to it.
When you look at the derivatives, you find words such as,
into, inside, habitation,
within, in Germanic interpretations along with the
curious word innan. There is also a suggestion of a
combination of derivatives to form the word be within.
The Old English derivatives form the word innera which means
farther in.
The Latin word derivatives mention phrases such as introspect,
intrinsic, inward, and on the inside.
Intrinsic is that which is situated within or inward that is the
essential nature of an idea or thing.
There are many concepts in the world related to knowledge that
are only understood or accessed by a particular group.
Are conspiracies also esoterica? Not necessarily, as the
within reference seems more attuned to the body and mind
element of interpretation.
The word mysterious is listed as the only synonym and
classifies as a form of labeling knowledge that is not
understood. That seems odd, weren't we just defining how
to understand?
It seems convenient for the dictionary to label esoteric as
mysterious as the AHD was published in 1996 and 1992, which is
conveniently implanted in the psyche of Democracy as it is
interpreted. Mysterious is just a way of making
curiosity go to
sleep while the awe takes over.
That which is of an esoteric nature is not mysterious, it is
much more spiritual and a search for the truth of creation
sought within the mind and soul. When a type of knowledge is
suppressed, it is called esoteric and then labeled mysterious so
it can become a theory in the minds of people who are not
aware
of the value of this knowledge.
There is a good reason for this classification as knowledge is
power, especially that type of knowledge that rises out of the
spirit and begins to put doubt to sleep. From ancient history we
have the religion of Mysteries which refer to a group of
people before the Dark Ages of the 8th and 9th centuries who sat
opposite of those who were followers of ancient myths passed on.
There seemed to be two groups of people at this time in
history as the Greek culture began to prosper in the 7th
Century.
The religion of Mysteries had initiations that were
performed in their schools according to writer P. D. Ouspensky.
If you notice today, demon cults also perform these rituals, of
course, on their side of the fence. The question now remains,
who is who and who became what? This might be where the actual
mystery lies.
"Esoteric Knowledge can be
given only to those who seek, only to those who have been
seeking it with a certain amount of consciousness,
that is, with an understanding of how it differs from
ordinary knowledge and how it can be found. This
preliminary knowledge can be gained by ordinary means,
from existing and known literature easily accessible to
all. And the acquisition of this knowledge may be regarded
as the first test." [...]

Those who dwell on the dark side often incant as a form of brain
washing of ideas in the mind. Advertisers today have turned
incantations into an art form. Who is who? Who are you?
P. D. Ouspensky writes in the Fourth Way on page 386 of two
specific ways to understand esotericism. One is logical thinking
and the other is psychological thinking. With psychological
thinking one must first realize all things have an inner
meaning. One must also learn that all things are connected and
they only appear to be separated.
For a perspective of an esoteric center in a visual
sense, P. D. Ouspensky embodied an idea from his teacher George Gurdjieff, or
as he referred to him as G. This diagram has been recreated from
the book "In Search of the Miraculous."

It could be said that ESP, or extra sensory perception may be
related to attuning of the magnetic center and creating balance
within. The dictionary states ESP is a way to communicate or
perceive by means other than the
physical sense. That is quite vague and
seemingly useless. Our environment, and our physical world is a
part of our perception even when we are not viewing it, and the
understandings around ESP, are
jaded and misdirected into fantasy, mystery, ghostly visions,
and nonsense. This distracts from the truth related to the mind,
helping to prevent advanced perception and insight.
According to some of the philosophy of these great teachers, one
cannot advance until there is one to replace you on the step,
and only then may you step up. This may occur dynamically today
in some forms where this was not previously possible. This also
may be a form of passing on what I paraphrase "the spirit of the
honey bee." Discern carefully and
discover peace and
joy.
