The Maya developed a
sophisticated calendar. The ritual calendar that developed
in Mesoamerica used a count of 260 days. This
calendar gave each day a name, much like our
days of the week. There were 20 [Solaris*] day names, each
represented by a unique symbol. The days were numbered
from 1 to 13. Since there are 20 day names, after the
count of thirteen was reached, the next day was numbered
1 again. The 260-day or sacred count calendar was
in use throughout Mesoamerica for centuries, probably before the beginning of writing.

Isaiah 38:8
Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which
is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten
degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which
degrees it was gone down.

Exodus 28: 16-21 King James
[16] Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the
length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof. [17]
And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of
stones: the first row shall be a
sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the
first row. [18] And the second row shall be an
emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
[19] And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an
amethyst. [20] And the fourth
row a beryl, and an onyx, and a
jasper: they shall be set in
gold in their inclosings. [21] And the stones shall be with the
names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to
their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his
name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
